Benloch is a small town in the Macedon Ranges just a one and a half hour drive from Melbourne. The country is much drier than Cycadia and Wodi Wodi : sheep and granite country. I’m fortunate in having access to two properties there and work there is ongoing providing materiel for future exhibitions. Once again there’s a combination of plein-air and memory work in this gallery.

The third one is my favourite in this series. The atmosphere, the detail ….. absolutely magic.
I makes me ‘home-sick’ for New South Wales.
