Nocturnes was my first exhibition in 2014. It was a nostalgic return to childhood memories of Sydney at night. The oils are studio works from plein air pastel studies of each location.

You are a connoisseur of the night seeing even the colours in the dark although lit up by street lights. There is a certain drunkeness in it that proves that you know what you are ‘talking’ about.
